Profile
Allison is a master's student in Dr. Donald Hagan's Lab studying the effects of prescribed fire seasonality on songbird populations and forest structure in the Southern Appalachians. She has previously worked surveying for hellbender salamanders in North Carolina, terrestrial salamanders in West Virginia, conducting point counts for songbirds, ruffed grouse, and woodcock, as well as mist-netting and banding songbirds and is primarily interested in research that relates habitat management to wildlife ecology.
