Educational Background
B.S. Plant and Environmental Sciences- Agronomy
Clemson University 2023
Profile
I recently graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant and Environmental Sciences and minors in plant pathology and biological sciences. During my time in undergrad I conducted research in crop physiology, entomology, and plant virology. My masters research focuses on the prevalence and transmission of the harmful bacteria, Xylella fastidiosa, among small fruit crops in the Southeastern United States. My main interests include diagnostics and vector ecology, but ultimately anything that reduces food waste at the production level.
