Profile
Blake Lanford is the Associate Director in the state Extension office, bringing nearly two decades of experience to his role. He joined the University in 2006, following five years of service as a land use planner for city, county, and regional planning agencies. Over the course of his career, Blake has held various leadership positions within Extension, including County Agent, Regional Lead Agent, and District Director.
As a key member of the Extension Administration team, Blake plays a pivotal role in coordinating operational, financial, and strategic initiatives across the organization. He serves as a liaison between Extension’s leadership, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring that both internal processes and external partnerships run smoothly and effectively. Blake's work focuses on supporting the Extension Director, facilitating collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders, and contributing to the growth and success of Extension programs statewide.
