Profile

Eric is originally from Pennsylvania, joined 4-H in the 1970’s where he raised rabbits and sheep. He first attended, then became volunteer staff with Penn State’s residential camping program where he still volunteers every year to this day. He spent 10 years in the Navy where he served in the submarine force. After the Navy, he spent 26 years in the private sector before joining the SC Department of Agriculture all while volunteering in various capacities for both South Carolina and Pennsylvania 4-H. When the position became available, Eric applied for and eventually became the 4-H Agent for Lexington County in December of 2022. This truly is his dream job, and he wakes up every morning looking forward to working with youth and helping them make the best better every day!
