Educational Background

M.S Ecology
University of Central Florida 2019

B.S Environmental Science
Sun Yat-sen University 2015

Profile

I joined BICEFS in March 2024 as an Eddy flux tower technician maintaining mostly Hobcaw clusters eddy flux towers and collecting hydrology and forestry data for long-term ecological monitoring experiments. I also assisting in climate smart project effort of establishing more eddy flux towers across the state.

Before Clemson time, I moved from China to US in 2016 to do my master's at UCF, upon graduation I started working at Archbold Biological Station in South FL as an Environmental Specialist managing North Everglades Payment for Environmental Services project funded by South Florida Water Management District, the project focuses on controlling surface water and nutrient flow with local ranchers. My undergraduate experience involved mostly working in mangroves and salt marshes in subtropical South China.

Research Interests

I am generally interested in incorporating field experiment and sampling, instrumental technology and long-term monitoring to facilitate a successful and sustainable approach in conservation management.
