Profile

Ellie Lane is the Online Wellness Program Coordinator for the Rural Health and Nutrition Team at Clemson Cooperative Extension. She leads the development, facilitation, evaluation, and management of more than eight online wellness programs designed to inspire healthy behavior changes in South Carolina residents. With a passion for improving health outcomes, Ellie provides accessible, innovative, and free evidence-based online health education that empowers people to take control of their well-being.

Ellie’s work focuses on the prevention and management of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension, through the adoption of healthy lifestyle practices. These practices include maintaining a balanced diet, staying physically active, managing stress, and regularly monitoring one’s health. Rural Health and Nutrition online wellness programs equip participants with the knowledge, tools, resources, and support necessary to make meaningful, sustainable improvements to their health.

Ellie invites you to participate in any of the RHN programs offered to learn how to manage your health, achieve your wellness goals, and reduce the risk of future health complications.

"Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." - Dr. Maya Angelou
