Extension and Outreach

Katie works with residents and organizations in the Pee Dee region to understand and better manage water resources. Her special interests include pond management and aquatic macroinvertebrates. She also coordinates the statewide Stream Bank Repair program, helping land owners and land managers with practices to reduce erosion along small streams.
