I serve Clemson University’s Department of Pesticide Regulation as Pesticide Investigator for Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, Allendale, and Barnwell Counties. I respond to complaints concerning pesticide use that may allege drift or other improper applications. This can include agricultural settings and all types of non-agricultural settings. I answer the public’s questions and concerns regarding substandard termite treatments, and the accuracy of South Carolina Wood Infestation Report are also evaluated. I participate with the Department's cooperative EPA programs, which include applicator licensing and education, pesticide container recycling, integrated pest management in schools, endangered species protection, worker protection program, ground water protection program, and enforce the SC chemigation law. I also perform routine inspections in many different venues plus contribute as the Department's ISA Certified Arborist.
