Profile
I was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina to my parents Andy and Martha Thompson. Barnwell is my mother’s hometown, so me and my brothers spent a lot of our childhood here. When I was a sophomore in high school my family and I made the move to Barnwell, and I was able to become a warhorse graduate like my mother before me. After heading off for college I met my now husband, Matthew. We got married in 2016 and planted our roots in my childhood home in Orangeburg County with our two dogs. When the opportunity to work in Barnwell opened, I jumped toward it with open arms. I have really enjoyed working for Clemson Extension so far and being able to come back to this county to work is truly a blessing.
