Profile

I am a Wildlife Biologist with a strong belief in hard work. My master's degree and professional experience focuses on American alligators, primarily nesting females. As a Teaching assistant during Masters and as a public speaker now it's always great to talk about big reptiles (alligators and crocodiles). This work has given me strong writing and communication skills. So far, I have taken part in ten professional oral presentations and seven poster sessions. Finally, I have worked on five scientific papers.

Research Interests

Reptiles; their behavior, biology, nesting ecology, basking behavior, and growth.

Extension and Outreach

South Eastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE), interact with public on tours at Yawkey Wildlife Center and Hobcaw Barony, where the focus is to inform them about American alligator biology, nesting ecology, behavior, and ecological importance.
