Research Interests
The project work focuses on the comprehensive evaluation of broiler litter application on soybean production across the state of South Carolina. This research aims to systematically assess and analyze the impact of utilizing broiler litter, a byproduct of poultry production, as a soil amendment for soybean cultivation. The study entails conducting extensive field experiments on various farms, allowing for the collection of robust data sets to evaluate the effects of broiler litter application on soybean yield, quality, nutrient content, and soil health. By utilizing meticulous data collection and analysis techniques, this research aims to provide valuable insights into the efficacy and potential benefits of broiler litter as a sustainable and cost-effective soil amendment for enhancing soybean production within South Carolina's agricultural sector

Extension and Outreach
My Ph.D. project work is based on on-farm experiments across SC. On-farm experiments can provide real-world data in diverse agricultural environments, facilitating partnerships between researchers, farmers, and agricultural extension services. Additionally, your work may involve working closely with farmers to gather data, conducting experiments, trials, and surveys, and engaging with local communities to understand their perspectives and experiences.
