Profile

Tancey Cullum Belken was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She received her B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University, and began working in Youth Environmental Education after graduation. As an Environmental Educator she taught at the SCWA Wildlife Education Center teaching youth and adults the basics of forestry and wildlife management while running a school year field trip program for children attending Title I schools. She began her career with Clemson Extension in 2020 as a Water Resource Agent, and transitioned to the Forestry and Natural Resource Team in 2023. Her passion is teaching others about the land they live on, and how to be stewards of the land to ensure perpetuation of that land for the future generations.
