Profile
Dr. Xiao Yang manages Department of Plant Industry (DPI) laboratories (Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic, Molecular Pathogen and Pest Detection Lab, and Commercial Turfgrass Clinic) and serves stakeholders and plant growers across South Carolina by diagnosing plant problem samples and providing management recommendations. DPI labs are a member of the Southern Plant Diagnostic Network (SPDN), which is a regional division of the National Plant Diagnostic Network (NPDN).
