Contract Employee Permits
Employees of primary service contractors to Clemson University (i.e., Aramark, ABM and Ricoh) are eligible to purchase employee permits with proper documentation. Eligible people work at Clemson University but are not hired directly by the University. All permits must be purchased and paid for in Parking and Transportation Services during normal business hours.
How to obtain a contract employee permit
- Get an official letter from your employee stating your name, company name and salary range.
- A permit cannot be issued without this letter.
- Gather your vehicle information, including make, model, license plate number, color and year, for each vehicle you want to tie to your permit. Up to three vehicles may be tied to one permit. All vehicle information is required.
- If you have an accessible parking placard (ADA Permit), you will also need to bring the number on that permit and expiration date.
- Complete the Contract Employee Parking Permit Application.
- Bring the letter, vehicle information, ADA Permit (if applicable) and permit application to the parking and transportation services office during business hours with your method of payment for the entire purchase price.
Parking and Transportation normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
We accept cash, checks and credit cards.
Contract Employee Permit Rates
Employee parking permits are based according to salary. The rates are as follows:
- Up to $30,000.00- $24/year.
- $30,000.01 - $40,000.00 - $55/year.
- $40,000.01 - $50,000.00 - $86/year.
- $50,000.01 - $70,000.00 - $168/year.
- $70,000.01 - $90,000.00 - $217/year.
- $90,000.01 - $125,000.00 - $265/year.
- $125,000.01 - $150,000.00 - $278/year.
- $150,000.01 - $175,00.00 - $295/year.
- $175,000.01 - $200,000.00 - $309/year.
- $200,000.01 and over - $495/year.
Motorcycle and Moped permits are $40/year.
