Student and Faculty Talent
OCP works with corporate partners to establish a strategic plan that includes student and faculty talent development. These opportunities include:

Research Engagement
Research
Clemson’s Division of Research manages the research enterprise at the university. OCP develops a strategic plan with our corporate partners that includes a research component. This includes collaborating on federal and state grant opportunities and industry-sponsored research. Faculty members and students on the main campus, at research sites, and Innovation Campuses across the state of South Carolina perform cutting-edge research.

Technology Licensing
The Clemson University Research Foundation (CURF) provides the expertise needed to propel innovative technology from the laboratory into commercial markets. CURF works with companies and organizations to manage the university’s technology portfolio and licensing these technologies.
Campus and Community Impact
As part of Clemson University’s economic development mission as a land-grant university, part of OCP’s strategic engagement with companies includes collaboration to create impact on Clemson campuses, South Carolina, and the greater region. This includes opportunities to invest or co-locate at Innovation Campuses or research sites, collaborating on economic development initiatives and serving on university advisory boards.
