The Johnson Controls Building Analytics for Sustainability and Health Center positions Johnson Controls as a strategic corporate partner with Clemson, building upon our decades-long relationship with a nearly $3 million commitment to provide student scholarships and advance smart building research.

Clemson University is the educational partner for the local Next Engineers program, which was established with GE Vernova to increase the diversity of young people in engineering. Through the program, high school students across Upstate South Carolina get to work on immersive design challenges alongside GE Vernova engineers, earning scholarships while dedicating 220 hours outside of regular school to grow in technical and professional skills that will be critical to their success in college and beyond.

The Sales Innovation Program (SIP) combines expertise from the marketing and bioengineering departments with professional guidance from businesses to help students thrive in sales careers. In partnership with Arthrex, students in SIP can earn orthopedic medical device product specialist certificates, proving their ability to succeed in the orthopedic medical device industry.
