Our Mission and Vision
Mission: Clemson Online provides expertise and personalized faculty support to create and sustain unique learning opportunities and environments.
Vision: Clemson Online will further the development of globally recognized, competitive, and innovative educational experiences, thereby making Clemson University accessible to all students and extending the land grant mission.
We do this through the following initiatives:
- Providing instructors opportunities to learn about using technology in teaching and learning through both self-paced and synchronous trainings.
- Engaging in research to stay current with trends and changes to learning technology and online teaching.
- Managing Clemson’s Quality Matters program for online course reviews.
- Administering and managing campus-wide tools, such as Canvas, Kaltura, and Zoom, to support and promote Clemson Elevate in teaching and research.
