Profile

Barbara is a Consumer Horticulturist with the Clemson Extension Home and Garden Information Center (HGIC). She has over forty-five years of experience in the horticulture field from teaching high school horticulture, operating her own landscape design company, and working in the retail nursery business. She is a Certified Nursery Professional and a member of the SC Association of County Agricultural Agents.

Extension and Outreach

At HGIC, Barbara's responsibilities include answering telephone calls and emails from all over the state of South Carolina along with writing fact sheets and hot topics, editing and reviewing, and photography for HGIC publications. She also photographs for the Home and Garden Information Center website's photo blog and publications.
