Profile

Brittney is a Commercial Horticulture Extension Agent based in Florence, SC. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Francis Marion University where she developed a passion for horticulture. After graduation, she completed a summer horticulture internship at Moore Farms Botanical Garden in Lake City, SC. The experience gained from this internship led her to begin working at Forest Lake Greenhouses where she oversaw the annual greenhouse and educated the public on different horticulture topics like plant-pollinator interactions, pest and disease management, and how to promote biodiversity in the landscape.
