Profile
Catherine joined Extension as a Water Resources Agent serving Horry and Georgetown county in 2022. Originally from Conway, SC, she discovered an early appreciation for nature by exploring the woods behind her house and the swamps along the Waccamaw River. Her professional interests include wetland restoration, vegetative buffers, water quality analysis, native plant landscaping, as well as sustainable development and land management. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys spending time in nature, kayaking in the river or marsh, and spending time with family and friends.
