Profile

Hannah is the agronomy(row crop) extension agent and private applicator pesticide coordinator for Sumter and Clarendon Counties and county coordinator for Clarendon. She works closely with corn, cotton, soybean, sorghum, tobacco and peanut growers. Her areas of expertise include cover crops and irrigation.
Hannah is a member of the National Ag Agents Association, SC Association of Ag Agents, South Carolina Corn and Soybean Board Member, National Corn Growers Association and American Soybean Association. Hannah lives with her family in Sumter, SC.

She has worked with farmers measuring soil moisture using soil moisture meters and logging weather data. She also has completed state and county farm studies on corn, soybean, sorghum, and peanut variety yield trails, soybean nematode resistance variety research, cotton and soybean insect scouting workshop, sprayer calibrating setup, and a variety of other studies. Hannah has been with Clemson Extension for 10 years as an agronomy agent and has thoroughly enjoyed engaging with SC growers.
