Profile
Maggie's love for wildlife and the great outdoors was inspired at a very young age by her grandfather, Phil Wilkinson. Following in his footsteps, she pursued a career in wildlife and graduated from Clemson University in 2016 with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and a minor in Education. Maggie has a wide range research background that has given her extensive knowledge of the field, lab, and data management.
Some projects she has worked on include but are not limited to:
- Impoundment invertebrate and grass study for Ducks
- American Alligator growth, reproduction, and nesting studies
- Hurricane impact studies including Hurricanes Matthew, Irma, and flooding from Florence
- Saltwater intrusion study focusing on coastal wetlands and cypress swamps
- Savannah river vegetation study
- Numerous Natural Resource Economic surveys
