Prior to that, Heather was the Clean Water Director at Upstate Forever and led both policy and on-the-ground efforts on source water protection, connecting people to our local rivers, improving stream/wetland mitigation across the Upstate, and creating market-based solutions to incentivize reduced impacts from stormwater runoff. Additional previous roles include environmental consulting, fisheries resource management, and quality control of food and chemical products.
