Profile
Samantha Porzelt serves Extension as a Water Resources Agent in Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties. She joined the University in 2021 after 8 years of working as a biologist in non-profit public aquariums. As part of her role with Extension, she co-coordinates the Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium and coordinates Clemson's Master Rain Gardener program. Her professional interests include utilizing native plants to manage stormwater and support wildlife on residential and public properties. Samantha has served as a board member of the South Carolina Native Plant Society since 2021. She is also currently pursuing her master's in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources through Clemson University.
