Profile
Dylan serves as the Rural Health and Nutrition Agent covering Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Dylan is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and aims to be a helpful resource of educational and reliable health information throughout Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Dylan serves Greenville/Spartanburg and South Carolina residents by developing, facilitating, and evaluating chronic disease prevention and self-management programs.
Rural Health and Nutrition programs address prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes or hypertension through the adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors. Recommendations for healthy lifestyle behaviors include staying consistent with eating a nutritious diet, being physically active, managing stress, and regularly monitoring health. Rural Health and Nutrition programs provide the education, skill development, and access to resources needed to adopt these healthy lifestyle behaviors.
