OnBase-Performance Management Process Maps

Review process maps of the OnBase-Performance Management Planning, Performing and Monitoring, and Evaluation Phases below. Descriptions are provided below each image.

Planning Phase

OnBase-Performance Management Planning Phase

  1. OnBase emails Rater and Employee to start Planning process
  2. Rater and Employee Meet to lay out Plan
  3. Employee writes up Goals in OnBase
  4. Employee clicks "Complete and Send to Supervisor"
  5. Rater incorporates Employee's draft goals into formal plan
  6. Either Rater clicks "Sign" OR Rater clicks "Sign and Send to Reviewer" for the Reviewer to review planning stage and click "Sign" to send to Employee
  7. Employee verifies Planning Stage Information
  8. Employee clicks "Sign"
  9. OnBase moves the form to the Performing and Monitoring Folder

Performing and Monitoring Phase - Progress Toward Goals

  1. OnBase emails Rater and Employee to perform Optional Mid-Year Review. OnBase will move the form to the Evaluation folder 90 days prior to the Evaluation due date
  2. Simultaneous actions during phase:
    • Employee documents progress toward goals in Evaluation Stage
    • Rater and Employee meet regularly
    • Rater documents progress toward Goals in Evaluation Stage
    • Reviewer, Customers, Colleagues, and Others send Rater supporting correspondence
    • OnBase emails Rater to perform optional Mid-Year Review

Performing and Monitoring Phase - Changes Needed to Planning Stage

  1. Rater and Employee meet to discuss changes
  2. Rater updates Planning Stage

Evaluation Phase

OnBase-Performance Management Evaluation Phase

  1. OnBase emails Rater and Employee to start Evaluation process
  2. Employee performs Self-Evaluation
  3. Employee clicks "Complete and Send to Supervisor"
  4. Rater reviews Employee's Self-Evaluation then completes Formal Evaluation
  5. Rater clicks "Sign" which sends to Reviewer
  6. Reviewer verifies Evaluation and has option to add comments on Signature tab
  7. Reviewer clicks "Sign" which sends to Rater
  8. Review waits in Rater's queue until meeting with Employee
  9. Rater and Employee Meet to Discuss Evaluation
  10. Rater clicks "Send to Employee for Completion"
  11. Employee adds any final comments
  12. Employee clicks "Sign"
  13. PDF sent to Employee and Rater within 24 hours
  14. OnBase moves form for New Performance Cycle to Planning folder
