Employee Recognition Program

Goal:

The purpose of the Employee Recognition Program is to officially recognize and honor outstanding staff employees for their contributions to the University.

Eligibility:

Persons occupying classified and administrative unclassified positions.

Ineligibility:

Employees occupying other employee classifications.

Process:

Each Vice President is delegated the responsibility for developing an Employee Recognition Program for their area that will most effectively address that area's activities and mission. If a department or area already has an employee recognition program, it will be the decision of the Vice President to either approve its continuance or require it's revision. The Office of Human Resources - Employee Relations Unit is available to assist the Vice Presidents in the development, implementation, and operation of an Employee Recognition Program for their area upon request.
