Reading Order

Reading Order

Reading order refers to the sequence in which text-to-speech software announces electronic content. When electronic content is organized in a logical reading order, its meaning is preserved for readers who use screen readers. In some platforms, authors may have to take additional steps to ensure the reading order is accurate.
