Schedule Building Timeline

Summer/Fall 2025 Schedule Building

January 21 — Schedule Building Begins for Summer/Fall 2025

  • Include orientation first-year/transfer students in your Maximum Capacity, if appropriate, for Fall 2025 Orientation. The Projected and the Maximum Capacity fields should match.
  • No waitlists are allowed on sections with first-year/transfer reserved seats.

January 23 — Advising PINs assigned

February 14 — Fall 2025 Special Room Request Deadline

  • Special room requests must be submitted via the Special Room Request Form.
    NOTE: Only sections with a standard meeting time will be considered for approval.
  • If you require ADA accommodation, please first submit a Request for Reasonable Accommodation Form to the Office of Access and Equity. Attach the approval to your Room Request form.

February 28 — Schedule Building Deadline

  • Departments should have finished building and reviewing all course sections offered for the term, including assigning any sections using a department owned room and/or sections that have had a special room request approved.
  • Plan Ahead feature is available to students in iROAR.

March 3 — Mass Room Scheduling Processes Begin for Fall 2025

  • DO NOT make changes to sections in Banner during this time.
  • No events should be created in 25Live until the beginning of the term in which the event occurs.

March 10 — Fall 2025 Mass Room Scheduling Complete

  • Edits to sections in Banner may resume.

March 14 — Summer Room Assignments in Banner Imported to 25 Live

March 21 @ noon — Orientation Seat Reservations

  • Deadline to remove first-year and transfer student seats from maximum capacity (SSASECT) or Seat Release Tool in iROAR for Fall 2025 sections with orientation reserves. Keep the maximum total in the Projected field.  Waitlists are not permitted! Email questions to Kelly Barnes McDavid.

March 31 — Time Tickets Assigned for Summer and Fall 2025

April 7 through April 16 — Early Registration for Summer and Fall 2025

Spring 2026 Schedule Building

September 2 — Schedule Building Begins for Spring 2026

  • Include orientation first-year/transfer students in your Maximum Capacity, if appropriate, for Spring 2025 Orientation. The Projected and the Maximum Capacity fields should match.

September 4 — Advising PINs assigned

September 26 — Spring 2025 Special Room Request Deadline
