Registration Information

Discover the essential information you need to register for classes and troubleshoot issues you may have during the process!

iROAR Student System

Registration occurs online within iROAR. Within this system, you will add and drop classes, check your grades and view any registration holds that may prevent you from registering for classes. It’s also where you will apply for graduation when you've earned enough credits to complete your major requirements.

If you experience technical issues in iROAR, we recommend loading the system in a different browser than what you are currently using. If that doesn’t work, you can send a screenshot of the error to ithelp@clemson.edu and our IT team will do their best to help you solve the issue!

Experiencing an error while registering in iROAR? Registration errors are an indicator that you do not meet the requirements or restrictions set for one or more of your courses. You’ll likely need to contact your instructor or the Registration Coordinator for the course to solve the error, but you should first check to see if the error indicates a hold on your student account or another issue that you can fix on your own.

Degree Works

Degree Works is an online tool designed to help you stay organized, on-track and up-to-date on your progress towards graduation. The tool keeps track of your credits, organizing your transcript into an easy-to-read audit that can assist you and your advisor as you begin planning what courses you will register for in the upcoming semester.

Time Tickets

While there is always a designated date when registration begins in the academic calendar, your specific registration beginning time is based on the Time Ticket you are assigned. Expect to have your Time Ticket assigned about a week before registration begins in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Tuition Payments

It’s important that you keep up with your tuition charges and deadlines in iROAR. If you miss a payment deadline, you will be charged a $150 late fee and schedule cancellation. You will be responsible for rebuilding your schedule in iROAR, and we cannot guarantee your space in any courses you are dropped from after missing your tuition payment deadline.

If you need assistance paying for school or have questions about your tuition, the Office of Student Financial Services can help.

Closed Courses

Having trouble enrolling in a course? Whether you need to get on the waitlist or request a seat in a closed course, you can find all the information you need to move forward on the Closed Courses page!
